Living & Surviving Grief & Loss Workshop

3-part series in August 2024.

WORSKSHOP FACILITATOR: Reverend Angela Farrar Small, MSW, LICSW, M.Div., M.S.
Reverend Angela Farrar Small has extensive knowledge and experience with grief and loss, personally and professionally. She has worked in hospice, in HIV disease care, and counseling individuals living with chronic conditions and their caregivers, including families impacted by dementia. Reverend Angela also served as the pastor of a small congregation of elders and as such, sat at many hospital bedsides and ministered to many in grief.  Personally, Reverend Angela has grieved for the sudden deaths of her father, a friend for whom she was the power of attorney and caregiver, and her husband. Those lived experiences of grief deepened her perspective on how one lives through grief and makes meaning from the pain.

Originally from New Jersey and the daughter of a retired USAF officer, Reverend Angela has lived in the Seattle region since 1996. She earned her MSW at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, her Master’s in Divinity at Seattle University, and her Master’s in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University. Reverend Angela is also a clinical social worker in private practice.

Dates & Times: Saturdays, August 17, 24, 31 from 10am – 12:30pm

Workshop will be hosted on Zoom! Registration required to get the Zoom link.
