The Damascus Street Ministry serves our neighbors in the Rainier Valley every Sunday on the corner of Rainier Avenue South & South Henderson Street.
Gone are the days when you can knock on your neighbors door and ask for a cup of sugar or a bowl of coffee. So we bring the coffee & the sugar to the street!
We minister to peoples needs through prayer, conversation, food & clothing. Our goal is to show ourselves friendly by being neighborly.
And in so doing, we seek to bring the lost, marginalized, and disenfranchised into the Kingdom of God!

Our Purpose
To bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:1b-3a

from 8:30am – 11:00am.
We serve meals the last Sunday of each month.
